(VOVworld) – The United Russia Party hosted a special conference of the International Conference of Asian Political Party (ICAPP) in Vladivostok, Russia, between May 21-23. Representatives from 19 ICAPP member parties and Asian enterprises attended the conference entitled “Russia for Asia: new business opportunities”.
Deputy Head of the Party Central Committee’s External Affairs, Nguyen Tuan Phong, led a delegation of the Communist Party of Vietnam to the event. The delegates discussed opportunities and prospects for boosting economic relations among regional countries.
They adopted the “Vladivostok statement on regional development cooperation”. The Vietnamese delegation held bilateral meetings with the United Russia Party and other political parties to discuss mutual concerns.
