Vietnam ranks 3rd in the world in footwear exports, and 5th in garment and textile exports. Nguyen Van Khanh, Vice Chairman and Secretary General of the Ho Chi Minh City Leather and Footwear Association, said: “This is an opportunity for Vietnamese businesses to seek international partners in the supplying of apparel materials and other areas of operation. Foreign businesses have access to new equipment and materials. The government will see what they can do to support Vietnamese businesses in this regard.”
