Talking to the leaders of Kon Tum province and people of Kon Ray district, the Acting President acknowledged the efforts of the administration and people of all ethnic groups in poverty reduction, economic restructuring, tourism development, improving income, people's lives and especially maintaining security, defense, social order and safety in the area.

Xuan said she hopes that Kon Tum will continue to implement specific programs and plans for the socio-economic development of Kon Tum in general and Kon Ray in particular to unceasingly improve the material and spiritual life of the people of all ethnic groups in the province.

Kon Tum also needs to more effectively implement ethnic policies to narrow the development gap between ethnic groups and regions so that everybody can fully enjoy the achievements of the revolution, according to Acting President Xuan. She also called for resources to be mobilized to develop health care, education, preserve traditional culture and well implement social security policies.
