However, nothing new has been reported. Forces have now expanded their search area over 20000 square kilometers. Vietnam’s Air Force has deployed its most modern patrol airplanes.

On Tuesday, two aircraft took off from Tan Son Nhat International Airport and flew to southern Rach Gia city in Kien Giang province. Another took charge of the transfer of information to the command center. The air force has mobilized two CASA- 212 patrol aircraft equipped with up-to-date technical equipment for the mission, raising the total number of its craft taking part to 12.  There are 5 aircraft from Vietnam, as well as Malaysia, and Singapore who are all working to detect any sign of the missing plane.
