The Deputy PM talked about measures to bolster cooperation and emphasized the importance of increasing high-ranking visits, maintaining bilateral consultation mechanisms, working together to boost trade, and promoting people-to-people and cultural exchanges. He said Vietnam will create optimal conditions for the ambassador to fulfill his duties.

Ambassador Raptakis said Greece attaches importance to reinforcing ties with Vietnam. He also said Greece will promote the EU-Vietnam Framework Agreement on Comprehensive Partnership and Cooperation (PCA) and ratification of the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA) to open up new prospects for bilateral trade and investment.
