(VOV) – The Vietnamese Government is consistently making effort to fulfill 2013 socio-economic targets despite domestic and global economic difficulties.

Minister and Head of the Government Office Vu Duc Dam said on Friday at a press conference on the results of the Government monthly meeting for April. Mr. Dam said the Government continues to give priority to developing essential infrastructure for socio-economic development and social welfare projects such as building new hospitals to ease the shortage of clinics for better public health care. Regarding the issue of bad debts, Minister Dam said the Government considers approving a decree to establish a company to deal with bad debts in the coming days but this is only one of measures besides ministries, sectors, the State Bank of Vietnam and credit institutions.
