General Giang spoke highly of the impressive results of the dialogue on defense and security, training, UN peacekeeping, and assistance in overcoming the consequences of war. 

Ambassador Aliberti said the EU-Vietnam relationship has developed strongly, and there is potential for further development. He cited the EU's cooperation with Vietnam in COVID-19 prevention and control, and its support of Vietnam's participation in UN peacekeeping activities.
