President Al Sisi said Egypt will increase cooperation with Vietnam and thanked the country for supporting Egypt's participation in the Treaty of Amity and Cooperation in Southeast Asia. “We have agreed to strengthen political trust through regular meetings and high-level exchanges in defense, security, and people-to-people exchanges. We’ll boost cooperation at multilateral forums, particularly at the UN, the South-South mechanism, the non-aligned movement, and Francophonie, to lay a firm foundation for Vietnam-Egypt relations,” Mr. Quang emphasized.

The President said both sides are determined to raise bilateral trade revenue to 1 billion USD.

“We agree to share information on the investment environment and opportunities in our country and offer special mechanism to boost investment in petroleum, telecommunications, IT, agriculture, and processing. Vietnam will create incentives for Egyptian businesses to invest in Vietnam,” President Quang noted.
