(VNA/VOVworld)- A delegation of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) led by Deputy Head of the CPV Central Committee’s Commission for External Relations Nguyen Manh Hung has attended the 14th National Congress of the Peruvian Communist Party (PCP). During their stay in Peru, Hung discussed with leaders of Peruvian Communist Party and the Communist Party of Peru- Red Fatherland measures to further promote the traditional solidarity and cooperation between the CPV and Peruvian parties. Delegates from Peru’s parties praised recent socio-economic development achievements recorded by Vietnam and said they hope to increase the exchange of visits, and the sharing of experience and cooperation with Vietnam in many fields. They spoke highly of the Vietnamese military-run Viettel Group’s investment in a telecommunication network in Peru, affirming their coordination and support for Viettel and other Vietnamese businesses to do business in their country in the future.
