Vietnam Cultural Festival opens in Moscow

Themed "Vietnam - Colors from the Tropics", the event is part of activities to mark the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Russia.

In her address, Madame Ly said that the friendship between Vietnam and Russia, now in its 75th year, has been built on deep affection and mutual trust. She added that cultural exchange has long served as a vital bridge between the two countries, and this festival showcasing the finest expressions of Vietnam heritage stands vivid proof of their close cooperation.

Throughout the festival until August 3, visitors will be treated to traditional water puppetry performances and authentic Vietnamese cuisine, and participated in hands-on cooking classes. There will be Ao Dai (long dress) and live traditional music performances, Vietnamese handicrafts and lacquer jewelry workshops, and the "Vietnam: Country and People” exhibition.
