At the talks afterwards, the two leaders shared their theoretical and practical experiences in the construction of socialism of each country. They agreed on measures to strengthen cooperation in agriculture, fishery, food security, health care, pharmaceuticals, energy, culture, and tourism. They discussed ways to maintain stable bilateral trade relations and create favorable conditions for businesses of the two countries to do business.

The two sides also reached consensus on the need to strengthen the exchange of experiences on guidelines and policies on socio-economic development, building an independent and self-reliant economy, deepening integration, and responding to global economic challenges.
Exchanging views on global and regional issues of mutual concern, both agreed to continue consultation, closely coordinate and support each other at international organizations and multilateral forums. Vietnam affirmed its consistent stance of demanding the lifting of unilateral economic and financial embargoes against Cuba.
The two PMs shared their stance in favor of settling maritime issues by peaceful means on the basis of respect for international law, especially the United Nations Charter and the 1982 United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea.
Prime Minister Chinh announced the decision of the Party and State of Vietnam to provide the Cuban people with 5,000 tons of rice to contribute to overcoming recent socio-economic difficulties.
After the talks, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh awarded the Ho Chi Minh Order from the State of Vietnam to the Cuban Prime Minister.
The two leaders witnessed the signing ceremony of three bilateral cooperation documents. They included Action plan to implement the Vietnam-Cuba bilateral economic agenda for the period of 2023-2025, Memorandum of Understanding between the two Ministries of Agriculture on bilateral cooperation, and Action plan on health cooperation between the two Ministries of Health.
