Cuban Prime Minister to visit Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia

(VOVWORLD) - Cuban Prime Minister Manuel Marrero Cruz will pay official visits to Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia from September 28 to October 6, according to the Cuban Foreign Ministry. This will be Mr. Cruz's first trip to Asia as Prime Minister of Cuba.

Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia have established a strong brotherly relationship with Cuba based on unwavering solidarity and many similar views on international issues, the Cuban Foreign Ministry said in a statement released on Saturday (local time). 

Before the trips, Prime Minister Cruz will travel to Japan to attend the state funeral for late Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.
