"The US Presidential election is the internal affairs of the US and only Americans have the right to decide. Vietnam considers the US one of its top partners on the basis of respecting each other’s national independence, sovereignty, territorial integrity, political system, and mutual benefits.  Vietnam hopes that the US continues to make bilateral ties more practical, effective, and sustainable, " said Nam.

Nam said 25 years after establishing bilateral ties, the two countries have made great strides and strengthened the comprehensive strategic relationship thus contributing to peace, stability, cooperation, and development in the region and the world. Vietnam believes that any US President will support the development of bilateral ties.
