(VOVworld) – Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc on Saturday sent a message of condolence to Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Lofven on the deadly truck attack in Stockholm on Friday.

Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Le Thi Thu Hang said Vietnam condemns the attack, adding that the perpetrator must receive due punishment. Ms. Hang said there’s no information yet whether Vietnamese citizens are among the victims, and the Vietnamese Embassy in Sweden is keeping close track of the situation to provide support for Vietnamese citizens in case of emergency.
