(VOVWORLD) - No new COVID-19 infections have been transmitted in Vietnam for 70 straight days, according to the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control.

The national case tally of 352 includes 212 cases contracted abroad by individuals who that were quarantined upon arrival. 329 patients, 93.5% of the total, have fully recovered. The remaining patients are all in stable condition. Two have tested negative for the coronavirus once and three have tested negative at least twice.

Because the epidemic is still raging in other countries, Vietnam will not be resuming international flight in the near future.
