The document replaces a memorandum of understanding signed in 2007. Participants at the meeting discussed the status of religion in each country, shared their experience in state management of religious affairs, and reviewed the implementation of the 2007 Memorandum of Understanding. They agreed that the co-operation activities contributed to strengthening the traditional friendship and co-operation ties between Vietnam and Cambodia.
