(VOVworld) – The Vietnamese government’s Committee for Religious Affairs and Cambodia’s Ministry of Cults and Religious Affairs signed a co-operative agreement on religious affairs until 2020 in Ho Chi Minh City on Monday.

The document replaces a memorandum of understanding signed in 2007. Participants at the meeting discussed the status of religion in each country, shared their experience in state management of religious affairs, and reviewed the implementation of the 2007 Memorandum of Understanding. They agreed that the co-operation activities contributed to strengthening the traditional friendship and co-operation ties between Vietnam and Cambodia.
