(VOVworld) - Court sectors of Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia agreed on the Vientiane declaration to tackle transnational crimes after two days of meeting in the Laotian capital city. Delegates analyzed strengths and weaknesses in the implementation of earlier declarations and initiated new cooperation strategies, as Vietnamese Chief of Justice, Truong Hoa Binh, comments:
“Organized and transnational crimes have become more sophisticated while new forms of crimes have emerged. We need to strengthen judicial cooperation to tackle non conventional crimes.”
