At a discussion of the Food Action Alliance, Ha shared Vietnam’s experience in ensuring food security and agricultural development, saying Vietnam attaches great importance to agriculture, considering it an economic spearhead.

He said farmers, scientists, businesses, and the State have linked together and paid attention to international cooperation, particularly the tripartite collaboration with the European Union (EU) and Africa.

Mr. Ha called for tripartite cooperation in agriculture between Vietnam, African countries, and the EU, and collaboration in building innovative regional centers and foodstuff systems in Vietnam.

At the discussion on the Interplay of Food, Energy, and Water, one of the most important topics at this year’s WEF, Mr. Ha shared Vietnam’s experience in ensuring food security and sustainable agricultural development.

At separate meetings with World Bank Managing Director of Operations Axel van Trotsenburg and Group Chairman of Standard Chartered Jose Vinals, Deputy PM Ha asked the banks to support green investment capital, green finance, and high-quality green technology, and connect foreign investors to Vietnam.
