(VOVworld) – Vietnam and Brunei have agreed to set up a naval hotline in a Memorandum of Understanding on bilateral cooperation signed on Thursday. The signatories were the Commander of the Vietnamese People's Navy, Admiral Nguyen Van Hien, who has just concluded a visit to Brunei, and Commander of the Royal Brunei Navy Admiral Dato Paduka Mohd Hanifah.

The two updated one another of bilateral defense and military cooperation and discussed ways to intensify naval ties.
During his week-long visit, Hien attended the 4th International Defence Exhibition and Conference (Bridex).
