President Truong Tan Sang

(VOVworld) – President Truong Tan Sang says Vietnam and Brunei can boost cooperation in oil and gas, agriculture, forestry, and seafood. Sang made the statement at a reception for Brunei’s Energy Minister Yang Berohormat Peshin Yasmin in Hanoi on Monday. He expressed his hope that talks between the two countries’ oil and gas sectors will strengthen bilateral ties. President Sang praised Brunei’s role in the international arena.

The guest minister briefed the President on discussions between Brunei’s energy sector and the Vietnam Oil and Gas group, saying both sides are ready for more in-depth relations. The Brunei minister also told his host his impressions of Vietnam’s land and people during his third visit to Vietnam.
