(VOVworld) - The Association of Vietnamese Investors in Cambodia (AVIC) targets 4.2 billion USD in Vietnam’s foreign direct investment in Cambodia and 5 billion USD in two-way trade by 2015. It hopes to increase the annual number of Vietnamese tourists to Cambodia by 30% to 1.6 million next year.
The goals were set at a meeting held in Phnom Penh on Wednesday to discuss AVIC operation in the 2014-2015 period. Its activities will enhance the performance and investment of Vietnamese enterprises operating in Cambodia.

AVIC will focus its investment in Cambodia in agriculture, energy, and aviation. Products of Vietnam’s strength will be promoted such as fertilizer, oil, gas, and energy.
