(VOVworld) – The Ministry of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs and the Japan International Training Cooperation Organization, known as IM Japan, in Hanoi on Saturday signed a memorandum of understanding on Vietnamese trainee in Japan program.

The MoU is based on the newly adopted Labor Law of Japan in which the subject to receive technical intern training has been expanded including foreign trainees and workers. Japan’s Labor Law also creates better conditions for stay visa extension to 5 years.

IM Japan’s President Yanagisawa Kyoe said those who are trainees under the newly signed MoU and complete 5-year apprenticeship in Japan will receive the agency’s long-distance training support in business management, accounting, and finance so that they can run private businesses.

Both agencies also signed a document to kick off discussions about receiving Vietnamese technician engineers.
