During talks in Hanoi on Tuesday, the two leaders urged government agencies, ministries, and businesses from both countries to enhance cooperation, facilitate market access for each other’s key products and diversify supply chains to raise bilateral trade.
The two sides agreed to expand cooperation in agriculture, science and technology, innovation, education and training, as well as culture and the arts. They encouraged the opening of direct flights and the expansion of cooperation in new areas aimed at sustainable development and improving people’s life.

Both leaders emphasized continued coordination and mutual support at regional and global forums, particularly the United Nations and the Non-Aligned Movement, and on issues of common concern. Vietnam welcomed Bhutan’s efforts to broaden its relations and pledged to facilitate stronger connectivity with Southeast Asia.
After the talks, the leaders witnessed the signing of a framework cooperation document between the two governments and an aviation agreement.
