Figures show that the US imported a total of 172 million USD worth of vegetables and fruits from Vietnam in the first 9 months of this year, up 50% from last year, accounting for 2.3% of the US total import values. The US’s favorite imported products from Vietnam include fruits, nuts and other editable plants, either prepared or preserved.

In Europe, Vietnam has become Germany’s 1^st supplier of cashew nuts thanks to its stable output and quality. Vietnam’s cashew nuts market share in Germany’s total import turnover rose from  57.51% last year to 62.46% in the first 9 months of this year. Vietnam’s export of cashew nuts to Germany is expected to rise further next year thanks to the European-Vietnamese Free Trade Agreement.

Vietnam ranks 1^st in quantity of coffee exports to Russia and 2^nd only to Brazil in regard to coffee export turnover to Russia with 133 million USD in the first 9 months of this year.
