(VOVworld) – Vietnam and Australia signed an agreement on mutual criminal legal assistance in Sydney on Wednesday, a step forward in legal cooperation. The agreement was signed during a visit to Australia by a delegation from Vietnam’s Supreme People’s Procuracy led by Prosecutor General Nguyen Hoa Binh. The agreement will become the legal framework for bilateral cooperation in fighting crime, particularly transnational organized crime. It also symbolizes the development of relations between the two countries in all areas, deepening their comprehensive partnership.
