Ambassador Nguyen Trung Thanh, Vietnamese permanent representative to the United Nations, the World Trade Organization (WTO) and other international organizations explained his thoughts on children’s rights in the shaping of views about history through education. He said that countries should respect comprehensive approaches to the teaching of history. He added that Vietnam had always treasured the sacred values of human rights, particularly the right to self-reliance and the right to live in peace, prosperity, and harmony with other nations.
