The event is held annually by the Diplomatic Spouses’ Association in the Czech Republic. Vietnam’s traditional items include silk, pearls, bamboo and rattan products, and specialties such as green bean cake, coffee, tea, and spring rolls.
“Vietnam has participated in the bazaar since it was first held in 2000 by the Diplomatic Spouses’ Association to raise money for disadvantaged. Last year, Vietnam chaired the bazaar. This year, we hope to sell many products and raise more money for charity”, said Pham Ngoc Tram, wife of the Vietnamese ambassador to the Czech Republic.
Since 2000, the International Christmas Bazaar has raised nearly 2.4 million euros.
