(VOVworld)- The 11th Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) Ministerial Meeting in were held in Tajikistan over the last two days. The Vietnamese delegation was led by Ambassador Nguyen Quoc Dung, Head of the Foreign Ministry’s Economic Department. At the event, Dung affirmed Vietnam’s commitment to working closely with other ACD member countries towards regional peace and prosperity, and gave an opinion on sustainable development and proposals for future ACD cooperation. The participants discussed poverty reduction, public health care, food security, energy, water resource protection, climate change, natural disaster prevention, human resource development, social equality and religion harmony. The next ACD Ministerial Meeting will be held in Bahrain this November.
