(VOVworld) – Vietnam and Argentina discussed measures to improve their bilateral ties at the 6^th political consultation held Monday in Hanoi.

Vietnamese Deputy Foreign Minister Ho Xuan Son and his visiting Argentinean counterpart Eduardo Zuain co-chaired the event. Son said the Vietnamese government wants to deepen its ties with Argentina within the framework of a comprehensive partnership. He proposed that the two countries increase exchanges and implement co-operation mechanisms such as Inter-Governmental Committee or the Political Consultation to support economics, trade, and investment. Son also called for continued implementation of technical co-operation, promotion of South-South co-operation, and cultural exchanges.
