At a regular press conference on Thursday, Vietnamese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Pham Thu Hang said this support has been crucial in helping the government and people of Vietnam overcome the huge damage caused by natural disasters, storms, and floods and contributing to stabilizing the situation while restoring production, and promoting economic growth.

The spokesperson also noted that the overseas Vietnamese community has already donated approximately 530,000 USD and is expected to continue to assist the affected regions and communities.
