(VOVworld) - The Vietnam embassy in South Africa and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Johannesburg (JCCI) co-organized a seminar on Friday to promote trade activities in both nations.

Addressing the seminar, Vietnam Ambassador to South Africa Le Huy Hoang highlighted great opportunities to deepen all-around cooperation, especially in economics and trade as the two countries earned a two-way trade turnover reached over US$1 billion last year. Vietnam’s trade councilor in South Africa Nguyen Hong Tien said that the seminar offered an opportunity for businesses to utilize their advantages and learn more about necessary formalities to enhance future cooperation.
