(VOVworld) – On Monday, Minister of Public Security Tran Dai Quang received visiting Russian Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev in Hanoi.

Minister of Public Security Tran Dai Quang and Russian Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev signed a joint action program for the period from 2016 to 2018.

Minister Quang said he hoped that the two sides would exchange information and share their experiences in preventing and countering crime. The two countries wish to further cooperation in training law enforcement personnel. Minister Kolokoltsev spoke highly of the fruitful cooperation between the two Ministries over the years. They signed a joint action program for the period from 2016 to 2018.
Minister Kolokoltsev was received by Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung the same day.  Prime Minister Dung said Vietnam will continue to work with Russia in promoting their strategic cooperation, adding that the Vietnamese government supports cooperation between Vietnam's Public Security Ministry and Russia's Interior Ministry, particulalry in human resource development, anti-terrorism, crime prevention, and cyber security.
