(VOVworld) - Vietnamese Ambassador to Egypt and Lebanon Do Hoang Long suggested Lebanon recognize Vietnam’s full market economy status during his current visit to the Middle-east country.
The ambassador told Lebanese Prime Minister Tamman Salam during his visit to Lebanon on Thursday that Vietnam and Lebanon should consider expanding their cooperation in trade, finance-banking, tourism and labour, while supporting each other at international organisations and forums. The diplomat hoped that the two countries will work to tap their cooperation potential, particularly in economy and labour, via high-level delegation exchanges, economic, cultural and artistic exhibitions, and meetings between their businesses.
On September 27, the embassy in conjunction with the Honorary Consul and the Lebanese Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture organised an economic seminar highlighting Vietnam’s business potential and opportunities.
