Mr. Son spoke highly of those meetings: "Those meetings took place in the warm and friendly atmosphere. We have discussed strategic and significant issues of mutual concern and measures to boost bilateral trust. Vietnam and France will see good prospects in bilateral ties especially as the two countries will organize activities to mark 40th founding anniversary of diplomatic ties and France’s Friendship year in Vietnam and vice versa".

The Vietnamese delegation agreed to promote the role of the Vietnam – France Parliamentary Friendship Group at France’s Parliament serving as a bridge to build trust and good bilateral relations between the two countries.
