The Vietnamese Party hoped that the congress will issue important policies to promote the building of socialism with Chinese characteristics and a prosperous society by 2020. The telegram highlighted the close relationship between the two Parties and their time honored friendship and comradeship. Vietnam pursues the two Parties and nations’ motto of friendship neighborliness, comprehensive cooperation, long term stability and future orientation to nurture bilateral comprehensive strategic partnership.
