The air link between Vietnam and Osaka was disrupted early this month by storm Jebi. The Hanoi-Osaka route is also expected to be restored, with one flight a day, starting next Thursday (September 20). Starting next Tuesday, Vietnam Airlines will operate a wide-body Boeing 787 for the Hanoi-Nagoya route instead of an Airbus A321. The Boeing 787 will also likely be used for the HCM city-Nagoya route starting next Friday. Vietnam Airlines has had to cancel 56 flights between Vietnam and Osaka from September 4 to 17 as a result of storm Jebi.
