The group will open for sale more than 155,000 seats on international air routes, which represents a two-fold increase compared to the same period last year. This increase is in response to the growing travel demand for foreign destinations during the holiday season.
In the domestic market, there is still high demand for air routes between Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Nha Trang, and Phu Quoc.
Vietnam Airlines will continuously update market demand and make flexible adjustments to flights in order to meet the high travel demand during the peak period from August 31 to September 5.
Furthermore, this year's airfares will be sold in a flexible manner based on the principles of supply and demand in the market. Currently, local airlines have not increased flights, despite signs of decreasing airfares for the upcoming holiday period.
