This is the airline’s second destination in Indonesia and a strategic move to expand its flight network across Southeast Asia, addressing a growing travel demand between Vietnam and Indonesia.
In the first phase, Vietnam Airlines will operate four round-trip flights per week – on Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday, before raising the frequency to seven flights per week, starting in July.
The carrier also launched a direct flight on Sunday between Nha Trang and Busan, the second largest city in South Korea. That route will have a frequency of one round trip per day.
