(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam is expected to have several leading agricultural enterprises in the region and the world by 2030, actively participating in global value chains and building national brands for key agricultural products, according to the Politburo’s conclusion on implementing the 13th Party Central Committee’s resolution on agriculture, farmers, and rural areas, with a vision to 2045.

The Politburo recognizes agriculture, farmers, and rural areas as a long-term strategic priority and a vital foundation for macroeconomic stability and sustainable growth.

Farmers are regarded as the center, key actors, driving force, and essential resource of the renewal process. The focus will shift strongly toward commodity production and the development of green, organic, circular, and low-emission agriculture while protecting the ecological environment.

High technology and comprehensive digital transformation will be applied, and the potential and advantages of each region and locality will be promoted.

By 2026, breakthrough policies will be introduced to attract and mobilize the participation of people and businesses in green, ecological, and circular agriculture, and to support enterprises, economic organizations, and local communities in strategic, remote, and disadvantaged areas.
