Vietnam adds 13 more COVID-19 cases

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam confirmed 13 new cases of COVID-19 on Monday, according to the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control. 

8 of the latest patients had been sent to quarantine areas in the northern province of Hai Duong before they tested positive for coronavirus.

The remaining 5 patients are returnees to the southern province of Kien Giang and were quarantined upon arrival.

Vietnam’s total number of infections stands at 2,461. 1,876 patients have recovered and 35 have died.
