A traditional and modern Vietnam was reflected in the rhythms of folk music and games, a display of handicrafts, traditional customs and pictures of Vietnam and its people.
A stall showcasing Vietnam’s traditional food also attracted crowds.
Proceeds will be donated to the club “For beloved Hoang Sa-Truong Sa” and the Vu A Dinh scholarship fund in support of coast guards, fishermen and poor students.
The event was co-hosted by the Vietnamese Youth & Students’ Association in Canberra and the Vietnam Students’ Association at the university.
