Vice President Nguyen Thi Doan says the Vietnamese government has worked closely with international organizations, including the SOS Children's Villages International, to improve the efficiency of charity work. At a reception for Helmut Kutin, President of the SOS Children's Villages International, Ms. Doan  thanked the organization and the President himself for their assistance for Vietnam over the past 24 years. Mr. Kutin expressed his delight over the effective cooperation between his organization and the Vietnamese government in assisting disadvantaged children nationwide. He said that the SOS Children's Villages International will continue its cooperation with and support for Vietnam in the near future.
