(VOVworld)- Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff received Vice President Nguyen Thi Doan in Brasilia on Friday during her participation at the World Women’s Summit. President Roussell praised Vietnam’s increasing role in the world and expected to raise two-way trade turnover to 10 billion dollars by 2020. He expressed his plan to visit Vietnam this year to boost bilateral comprehensive ties. Vice President Doan said Vietnam wished to promote comprehensive cooperation with Brazil for mutual benefit. President Roussell praised Vietnam’s increasing role in the world and expected to raise two-way trade turnover to 10 billion dollars by 2020.

He expressed his plan to visit Vietnam this year to boost bilateral comprehensive ties. Vice President Doan said Vietnam wished to promote comprehensive cooperation with Brazil for mutual benefit. Both voiced their view to settle territorial conflict through dialogues, peaceful negotiation and friendship in line with international law. Brazil supports Vietnam’s bid to the UN Security Council in the 2020 – 2021 term. Vietnam offers its support to Brazil’s membership to the extended UN Security Council and strengthening ties with the ASEAN.
