(VOVworld) – President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Nguyen Thien Nhan held talks with Kenia Serrano Puig, President of the Cuban Institute of Friendship (ICAP) with the Peoples, who is on a visit to Vietnam until April 12.

Mr. Nhan expressed his gratitude to the Cuban Party, government, and people for their altruistic help, strong unity, and sentiment for Vietnam. He said Cuba was entering a new development period, starting with the approval of the Foreign Investment Law. The reforms will generate more opportunities for Vietnam and Cuba to enhance their traditional relations and comprehensive cooperation in agriculture and telecommunications, share lessons on foreign investment and industrial zones, and create conditions for Vietnamese businesses to enter Cuba.
