Mr. Chinh noted that vaccination should go hand in hand with improving preventive medicine and the grassroots healthcare system. Top priority should be given to COVID-19 prevention and control, economic recovery, safeguarding independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, and building an independent and self-reliant economy with extensive international integration, he said.
"Our ultimate goal is to control the pandemic and prevent recurrence. Prevention is the basic, long-term, and decisive strategy. Good prevention will help us avoid an epidemic fight. Vaccination is each individual’s right and interest, and their responsibility for themselves, their families, and the community," said PM Chinh.
Mr. Chinh emphasized the importance of early disease prevention and providing patients with the easiest and fastest access to medical services. He urged faster vaccination and drastic measures to prevent new epidemics from entering Vietnam.
