(VOVworld) - The United States urged China on Thursday to try different approaches to deal with North Korea's nuclear ambitions.

During telephone talks with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in the wake of North Korea's nuclear test the previous day, US Secretary of State John Kerry said as China has had "a particular approach" to addressing North Korea's nuclear ambitions, Washington had been giving Beijing "the space to be able to implement that." Mr. Kerry also said he and Mr. Wang agreed to work very closely together to determine the steps to take in order to address their increasing concerns about that nuclear test.
