OPEC+’s July agreement to boost production by 400,000 barrels per day on a monthly basis beginning in August and stretching into 2022 is not enough, National Security advisor Jake Sullivan said, adding that OPEC+ must do more to support the recovery.

The same day the White House called for an investigation into possibly illegal actions that have caused oil prices to rise in the US.
