The message was reportedly delivered during a meeting in New York, with the envoys quoted as saying: “Mr. President thinks it is time to push to end the war. It’s time.”
According to Israeli media, the draft plan under discussion includes the rapid release of all hostages, a permanent ceasefire, and a gradual Israeli withdrawal from the Gaza Strip.
Other elements reportedly involve ending Hamas rule, demilitarizing Gaza with granting possible amnesty for senior Hamas leaders willing to leave, deploying an Arab security force, and US guarantees that Israel will not annex West Bank territory.
On the same day, President Trump wrote on Truth Social that negotiations with multiple Middle Eastern countries were “intense” and would continue until a comprehensive agreement is reached.
"Intense negotiations have been going on for four days, and will continue for as long as necessary in order to get a Successfully Completed Agreement. All of the Countries within the Region are involved."
He said both Israel and Hamas had been briefed on the proposals and that he had met with leaders and officials from several Muslim nations this week to discuss ways to end the conflict.
