The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said Obama’s strict regulations will no longer apply after 2020. They said they will collect public opinions and write a new law to take effect in 2021.

Officials said these changes will lower car prices by 2,000 USD and reduce highway accidents as consumers buy better cars.
