On his Twitter page, Trump said a meeting with senior North Korean representatives in Washington last week was good and that the media does not appreciate the great progress the US and North Korea have made.

President Trump confirmed that he has decided which country will host the summit, but did not give any more details. At their first meeting in Singapore in June 2018, the two leaders agreed to take steps toward denuclearization and build mutual trust.
